I took the leap into full-time freelance photography and writing four years ago. It’s been a journey filled with early mornings, long miles, and incredible stories from fields, farms, and food systems around the world.

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege to create content for organizations like the United Soybean Board, the Global Farmer Network, and many others. My work has been published in news outlets across the U.S. and around the globe, helping tell the story of agriculture and the people behind it.
From the rural roads of the Midwest to the busy streets of India and the high-tech ag facilities of Japan, this year’s assignments reminded me how connected our world is and how powerful visual storytelling can be.
I am grateful for the clients who trust me with their stories and the farmers who welcome me into their lives. Here’s to year five.
This is so cool that you have highly succeeded in your freelance venture! I had no doubt. I view your photos vicariously and glad you share your amazing images and writing with us. Cheers to five years!
